Frage von atmosfear:Hello and nice evening together!
And I mean fundamental issues, I know, but I am so very happy I do not mind with my approach ...
I have finished my short film cut into Premiere 6.5, ie, transitions, transitions, etc. Then I have imported the result as a DV-AVI, and exported to After Effects 7 (when I open only the Premiere Project into AE, so I miss all the stops or I'm doing something wrong?).
Now I've done in AE, the color correction and other post-production, where I now draufkomm that I have a logo fade top right corner and needed a little guy. If I do two things, however, already marketed in the film premiere and then add color in AE alter, so I guess synonymous and the faded logo with the guy or not? I put myself with the material so easy to premiere a new composition in AE so I can edit the film as a whole and not to worry about every single track must!?
Now I wonder how do the pros!?
What belongs where?
What needs to be already done in Premiere, and what's heard in AE?
I would be happy, would you share some experiences with me!
THANK YOU

Höhö "professionals" - I can write whatever synonymous? -)
So a basic color correction I would make with each clip, before I begin to cut. And then cutting.
If the entire film a special effect (certain color mood, logo needs), then postprocess the rendered whole movie.
In your case the logo halt s.Schluss slap, if indeed there must be.
Good luck

Thanks Stefan for your answer!
The logo but you'd be synonymous s.Schluss drüberklatschen in Premiere, right?
And where with the music / audio. Normally would belong into the premiere, but if you want to host an animation according to the Music ...
THANK YOU

Antwort von Stefan:
Yes, the logo in Premiere, punching, or even with other methods. Eg logofreies video making (master) and the logo just for example, when encoding to DVD punching. If the encoder via FrameMaker Server can be operated eg with VirtualDub or Avisynth.
In any case, it is so easy, if it is a static logo. If a logo needs to be animated, perhaps drübernudeln directly in AE.
For an animation to sound, I would with a Tonarbeitskopie in AU finalize the animation and put together the video file later in AP with the rest of the film and sound to video. To maintain the synchronization necessary to go in with AP-sub-projects in AE.
Exactly ... Generally speaking, I like to work in AP, if it hergibt the issue and to a certain stage, with partial or sub-projects.
A contiguous contained part is trimmed to about 3 / 4 arranged in the sub-project, and roughly cobbled together with no more elaborate transitions.
In the final project, I will sum up all sub-projects together in one main project. Like you can work in AE with compositions and precompositions.
I just like to see little snippets to grow and synonymous change spontaneously between the sub rather than always through the huge amount of work to do to have ;-)
In this workflow, it is in principle easy to move frequently between AE and AP.
Good luck
