much tape you vollkriegt so s.Tag and
what battery should I purchase an me.
I assume that I will take about three sites, of course, are precisely under the microscope and on the trip take a little time in between the landscape. What did you do for experience? Using a small indication of my planning, I'd be very happy.

So you should always enough with cassettes have, there's nothing worse when nen sack of rice in China and falls over you can not film this !!!!! ;-) Nen purchase the 5 pack that should be sufficient for the time being! ANd in the later post you'll find that too much material is always better!
As far as the Battery, the same is true, so I always have 4 full with Batteries!
You purchase one that has at least ne hour performance. As far as filming Battery economical, let the display! And most movies duch the viewfinder!

Well, if one takes time that you're on the road 10 hours s.Tag, then you can vollkriegen synonymous ten o'clock cassette. And for that you have ne need lots Battery performance.
In reality, I am so far mostly gotten along with two batteries. If you for example to the motorized zoom renunciation, if the Image Stabilization (disable it because you have a tripod) or only on the viewfinder screen films about the place you can shoot again a few minutes longer. The more automatic functions you disable it, the less electricity you consume! Then it depends on how cold your area is (should be no problem in Sri Lanka).
And cassettes can be Akum have enough. 5 pieces but they are pretty plentiful.

This is very different depending upon whether a monument with a few sequences is checked or if the images can later tell an interesting story / should.
S.Tag between 5 minutes and 2 hours I already had everything. For a two-week vacation, I reckon with 6 cassettes, each 60 minutes duration, will take about 8 tapes with and examples of which only 5 ;-)

You battery is 6 or 7 while yes, a DU would be at least 12 well-2h. recommended. If you do not mind the size would be 21 DU perfect or 2 du 12 You are always the question of how much is messing around.

Thanks for the helpful contributions. I think I probably would buy a medium sized battery and to schedule a day as one to two cassettes. I hope the bill will then adjust. :-)
However, I am a little taken aback at the prices.
How can it be acceptable that I should pay for two small Batteries for less than a big one? The difference depends on the load up to 20 euros.
Should I buy a larger second battery, which I might not really need and then, thanks to the memory effect is broken at some point?
Or should I rather buy a small battery and when it is no longer a yes, I'm still money for a second? I understood one? :-)

really worth to be filmed;)
But through this school, we had all the time.
I myself have me, when I started filming, gained a great replacement battery (2 hours), but I've actually rarely fully exploited. One does not filming 10 hours and can s.Stück Batteries recharge every night fresh again.
If you einhälst the tips of the previous speakers, and whenever possible are capturing it through the viewfinder and you can save time, inspect the records in between the display, then you should also with a larger replacement battery good go.

So I typically got along with 2 Batteries - but had like 3 products there. And it is working under the assumption that you can recharge every night, or about the car.
In the tapes generous - 10 pieces mini-DV tapes ala 60 minutes I would have had to take. It was synonymous not make sense to be stingy with the tape material. And sometimes note the following basic rules:
- Any adjustment should s.Anfang s.end And yet some "meat" have - to be able to cut around them. Especially important for pans and zooms. Because you can not cut into it later, but just needs before and after meat.
- Apropo panning and zooming: go to so thrifty! And if so, then zoom and rotate very slowly, very slowly. It is usually better anyway, if you are * consciously * choose an image area, and these films.
- To make the matter still interesting to take a mix of long shots, medium shot and close-ups of detail - it is then cut to the cut is an interesting and not boring mix. Pay attention here on enough "meat", below 20 to 30 seconds, it pays even from no take.
- Ideally it would be anyway, shoot one of Tripod to. A small tripod would be better than none at all, it is synonymous neck stands.
