If you are on easy cutting and further processing will buy you a HV30 or JVC HD40!
you are too big dan AVCHD cam a small but good on you will simply have to refrain from cutting ... HF100 will in the near future, very cheap (warehouses are full) .. which would be your future FullHD panel in sharpness rather exploit (sharpest s.Markt Camera)!
If you like the HF100 is too expensive forget dan HD or buy used!
