empfahlenswert for a Panasonic NV-GS 180 to shoot for our offspring. Outside and in the house!

For a GS180 Tripods should be sufficient. But compare times the maximum Height (without center column) with your body size. If you do not gebückt stand behind the camera would take rather a larger model. When fully extended center column such Tripods are very shaky, that it easier to topple.
If you're so young want to film is, in addition to the maximum Height Minimum Height synonymous interesting. It is filming in front of the camera people usually at their eye level (= normal perspective), unless you want with a frog or a bird's eye view cinematic reached.

In the same price category, there will be no better or larger type. Velbon is already an exception, because there are other manufacturers for this price not far from subdued Schwenk-/Neigeköpfe which video recordings are so important.
Immer wieder gerne used the DV -7000, currently the largest model of the Velbon series.

Had even the Velbon CX-660 seen! :-) For the price of 59 ¬ including shipping!

In fact, both Tripods have a similar size. The DV is -7000 halt massive (heavier and more stable) and can be synonymous bear a larger camcorder.
