Hello.
I often hear the term "script" in connection with After Effects, but as synonymous other programs.
Can someone please tell me, what exactly is meant by this? Currently I am of the opinion that one can, for example, customizing it virtually certain effects, or effects to its own tinkering - or something.
Can someone tell me short time that I've understood it correctly, or perhaps call a helpful link.

Hello,
with Script is meant simply program (in the widest sense). in After Effects would be the eg the expressions. There you can for example, the position of a layers (every other attribute, of course, is synonymous) can change dynamically (assigned), so for example, random values.
ActionScript for Flash would therefore mean, etc.
