Hi,
I am looking for the "perfect" editing software for AVCHD.
The material comes from the HG20. To edit is an HD-capable notebook with i5 processor and 4 GB of Ram available.
The finished film should easily be burned to DVD.
It would be ideal if this could directly upload the program on vimeo.
Otherwise, it should correct the most important thing such as white balance, etc. can The usual.

So what I recently found out is that Sony Vegas very well with AVCHD klarkam (could work on a similar system without problems a 12GB AVCHD file, which for me took a few problems with Premiere)
as far as I know, there are of Vegas synonymous cheap consumer versions, which should be in your price range. I do not know if the synonymous get along so well with AVCHD as the Pro version, why not?
