Frage von kzk:I despair just s.einem conversion problem ....
Here's what I did before:
From my Panasonic HDC-SD707 I would like to convert AVCHD 1080/50p material (ie, MTS) into a 1080/50p MOV. The MOV should be with the JES deinterlacer to half the speed be (correctly, I would like to create slow motion). Afterwards, the MOVs in Final Cut Express to edit 4 next.
FCE 4 can not handle 50p footage, so I need something free if possible, which can convert the 50p footage into a 50p MOV. The rest is even with the JES deinterlacer.
Do you have a tip for me?
Thank you!

blubb.mov ffmpeg-i-vcodec copy-acodec bla.mts copy-copyts
... However, if the can handle a Mac, is in the stars ;-)
Sure it would have to go so - then it is equally synonymous 25p:
ffmpeg-i-vcodec mpeg2video-bla.mts sameq-r 25-acodec mp2-page2-s.384k copyts blubb.mpg

The time went so fast ... Thank you!
However, I do not understand this right. I was with ffmpeg on the website, the download is obviously a matter for itself - or it does not s.Mac simple.
The way I understand you have told me a certain way, how to work with the program. Can you explain me in detail how this works?
After the download, I only had a folder structure with many files, but nothing to install or run.

On the Mac to install ffmpeg via Mac Ports (see http://www.macports.org/) or Fink (see http://www.finkproject.org/): eg single "port install ffmpeg" and type in the rest of going alone.
