For VHS would probably have a simple USB video capture card range (eg Viewcast Osprey 50), if perhaps synonymous times S-Video will be recorded, would be an appropriate Osprey 210th
If you for DV cameras will be ready, there are standard solutions of Canopus or Matrox.
But synonymous in Germany less known companies - but in the U.S. market leader - as Viewcast have) very good cards in the offer (eg Osprey Ease with Adobe Elements.
