Frage von noob:Hello,
I have before me for the first time even a calculator to assemble. If for Premiere Pro CS3, After Effects 8.0 CS3, Colorista, Magic Bullet ... suffice.
The following components are floating before me:
CPU: Intel Q6600 boxed
Mainboard: Asus P5K S775 IP35 FSB 1333MHz PCIe ATX
Case: ATX Midi SF7021-S-12cm silver 400W (inkl 400Watt)
Graphics: 512MB ZOTAC GeForce 8600GT (PCIe, V, D, T, A)
Hard drive: 500GB Samsung HD501LJ 7200RPM SATA II 16MB
RAM: 4x 2048MB Aeneon 800MHz PC2-6400 CL5
DVD drives I've ...
There's something missing? Fan, power supply ,...? If all the housing to be included. I can not post URL's, but there is everything in Mindfactory.
Are there any cheaper, comparable or better, the same expensive components? I have a chance without a large background, everything together to build. Have so far only drives built or expanded memory. Take me there?
Thank you for your opinions,
Dirk

Looks fine from Your Choice.
Have almost the same system.
If run without any problems.
If you are with the Components & Prg. main
work then the Quad is the first choice.
Even with 3D Prgs. incredibly fast.
For this price, there is no alternative.
The faster I would not assume - as fit
the price-performance ratio.
If you still have a bit of time with the purchase (Q1)
then perhaps to the 45nm CPU's wait. - Power saving!
Also DDR-3 Ram, I would advise against. - Too Expensive - no worthwhile
Performance.
4 GB Ram? - Remember the 32-bit versions of XP / Vista only
max. 3 GB (less) able to address. 4 GB myself.
but the video card does not tolerate moving the RAM register
up. Get 2GB (2x 1GB) - Save Money and Frustration.
The assembly is not difficult - Always only to manual
hold of Asus.

nabend,
think the computer should fit ...
if you dioch NEN bissl familiar with computers should be synonymous to the assembling hinbekommen ... einfcah no rush and then plug all where they belong;)
to the case I can not say .. However, I have the experience to the standard housing / fan etc. but pretty loud ... any time after a silent housing if you look at it more calmly like:)
the only conspicuous "criticism" I can see is the hard drive capacity ... if you get an hour überlegs dv material on the 13 GB disk writes you - provided you several projects s.laufen and has many effects, etc. may charge s.die soon limitless ...
so ramhungrig premiere is not synonymous mE ... habs auf'm laptop with 1gb ram running on xp - no problems with dv.
is important to stop your system as "clean" and you will not zuuu much schnickschnak then install what werkelt in the background and a brake:)

So before you omit the RAM, you should prefer ne 64-bit version of Windows here.
For the premiere may not be so important, but if you have After Effects on a RAM Preview machst, the times to a very sad with 2GB.
I speak from personal experience, 2GB hab synonymous and may perhaps one to three seconds (depending on the project) and make the preview is echt sch ...

The calculator above is yes, without operating system, whether it works?
Before I say nothing!

Thank you in advance for the answers.
The operating system is probably the 64bit version of Vista will be. Or because there's known problems or bugs? Is probably a must for the 8 Gig Ram exploit?

Regards About Vista I would be very well informed whether this is a good idea
around with Premiere Pro and Ae to work.
Before 2-3 months, in various U.S. forums are discouraged to use Vista.

Could it be that your RAM is already full of other things? Or are you working in HD resolution? I have in any case, with 2GB RAM PAL Resolutionum in the 10 seconds preview, no preference was for a project (of 1 to x levels with dozens of nested compositions.)

For HD it's not always in RAM Preview ResolutionVoll be.

Oh yes, Vista 64 bit - first look if there are all synonymous
Drivers for the desired system.
For the most NLE editing cards 64bit support is scarce.
