Hello Dropselmopsine
A Absulut cool name! But buy your idea to a true 16:9 camera is not as cool.Es unless you possess a peculiar Movies!
The video format is ALWAYS "quatraitsch"! This may not be synonymous prevent your Camera! If you dub So true 16:9 recordings on your PC, they will be converted to 4:3! Therefore, you must get a "normal" Buy Camera with video format (720x576) du 2.Darfst not make the mistake to put this camera on a pseudo-format of 16:9 prior to the recording. (End-> on the DVD you will be more black than white see.) films always in 4:3 format and edges of all the movies in 16:9!
Thus, the solution looks like!

Of course one can shoot with a number of DV camcorders in true 16:9 and edit these images as lossless as such in the 4:3-format.
In PAL 16:9 format has the same Resolutionwie 4:3, ie 720 x 576 pixels. This pixel corresponds to either 4:3 or 16:9 ratio and we speak synonymous of "rectangular" pixels. All newer video editing programs can properly handle, and you can then bring it synonymous wonderful on DVD.
There are a number of useful -16:9-DV camcorders recognize (to s.breiten display). With a budget of 1000 euros was raised, however, the consideration equal to one SonyHC3 (ie, HDV-taking format), for which there are now already for 1020 Euros. Even if you initially have any HDV Editing facilities and the material has spends only as PAL, which are original recordings before then in HD.

Pixel Aspect Ratio vs. video. Computer
Antwort von HDVideot:
Even a HC3 actually draws only 4:3 on (as indeed all synonymous 16:9 DVDs, however) anamorphic, do you mean recording in HDV 1440:1080 (4:3), the output is then 1920:1080 (16:9) .
Gruss

Your Dropselmopsine To go back to the whole theory on top of your actual question: I have recently, the Panasonic NV-GS280
done and to just take in the 16:9 mode. Am therefore fully satisfied and can be synonymous with 16:9 or use the Image Stabilization.
