The Canon HF100 is one of the most recommendable equipment, together with the SonySR11/SR12. The actual resolutions are quite good. In the past month there has been a veritable run on the HF100, where, synonymous with a Doctorate of Canon.
So if you come to cope with AVCHD, primarily for a possible cut, then the HF100 be recommended.
However, it must say that a successor to the HF10 has already announced, namely the HF11 (HF10 and HF100 are virtually identical, except for an internal memory, but eh None needed).

The HF 100 was my first choice, but had no wish to write full-HD, is too complicated to me with the editing, I just lay s.PC. So I was on the FS 100 came. Is the right really hard to find, you get so synonymous in any business consulting.

Hello,
If you are a layman on Pc and are still under process, then I advise you to HDV. That means mini-DV cassettes. Here in the forum is the Canon HV 20 resp.30 recommended (and not just here).
Concerning the Size, HV 30 is a slightly bigger than a HF 100 but not soo much bigger.
The way I see things, you'll no difference concerning quality look.

To Berabeitung would be to say that the AVCHD material HF100er course not soo easy to work. The FS100 is an mpeg2 easier berabeitbar, but would be even easier machinable defacto DV material of an SD camcorder. But then you stop tapes.
And me with SD hardly a good argument for mepg2 mind - since I personally prefer DV definitely. But is only my view - you can look like different. The mpeg2 SD devices are certainly not bad, as long as the processing is not on a laptop should be weaker.

About the HF 100, there are lots of threads - lots of everything discussed.
If so, the FS 100 is meant to what I have written here, just like the interesting synonymous JVC MS 100 (closely related).
