Frage von Isekram:Have here an old tripod head of Bilora.
Unfortunately, the aluminum parts were very shabby.
That's why I cut the head, cleaned and newly painted.
Now we have s.den assembly. All parts are still intact and complete.
The existing Teflon (?) Were fitted with a sort of "FAT" lubricated.
Who knows what a train is and where you get.

Antwort von Markus:
The composition of the lubricant (for the tripod head I mean) should be well guarded secrets of the respective manufacturer's. In addition to a constant attenuation at different temperatures should not synonymous increased early resistance in the pan or tilt may occur.
An earlier (jokingly) Recommendation was time to get a big head Sachtler to buy and the lubricant therein herauszukratzen. ;-)
