Infoseite // What software makes use of Vista 64bit?

Frage von mr-ludi:

Hi,

my first post in a forum that I have a lot in advance has helped.

I am looking for a video editing software to edit videos of my Canon AVCHD HF11.

The software should, if possible on Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit running and there will not be simulated only on 32bit, but 64bit hardware and the fleet synonymous exploit.

My system hardware consists of:
- Intel Core 2 Extreme
- 8GB Ram
- MSI N9600GT Hybrid Freezer, 1024MB, PCI-Express
- SATA II 32MB
- Blu-Ray burner

What software is for me to recommend?
The search does not have a useful outcome delivered.

Greeting
Pierre

smoke * for 64bit Linux? Sorry, I think you unterliegst here a fatal mistake. The advantage of the performance with the Bytecodelevel has relatively little to do, especially for cutting programs. How much memory do not need reasonable and multithreading and multicore Pocessing get synonymous in 32bit. Time, aside from most likely to capture things already because of the drivers in a 32bit emulation layer to run, so you would be 64bit native in cases of doubt, nothing in itself to use ... Otherwise: good performance, there's with Sony Vegas Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, but of course depends synonymous with your workflow. Edius is so synonymous quite nice, but now belong to Harris, because I see no country more ...

Perhaps I have misunderstood words.

Programs to 64bit is not "right" to support running in a 64bit operating system with emulated 32bit is slower than in a 32-bit operating system. Therefore I would like to ask whether there are programs that use 64bit reasonable, so they are faster than 64bit running in 32.

You understand it is still wrong, I think. The theoretical number s.Byteoperationen per stroke has on the performance, as the user perceives virtually no influence. Without considering the minimal effort for the larger memory addressing, it is on the same hardware in 32bit and 64bit as far as the same. Where it might be rather stuck, is in the differences in the graphic libraries for screen display, FileI / O, etc., just because the synonymous run in 32bit emulation. But this is too much of Microsoft's own problem or of NVidia, etc., for other drivers and middleware are responsible. A bad video driver so you can under realistic conditions cost more power than the AVC decode bissl what the program does selsbt .....

Production of premium Adobe support native 64bit support. I work with Vista Ultimate 64 bit and still have the same Vista 32bit and find that the performance is very good on my quad.

@ frm

Premiere CS4 now supports AVCHD synonymous (natively or via Intermediate Codec)?
How is the performance with HDV material?

Antwort von frm:

AVCHD will be better support, according video2brain.com
I have no AVCHD material.

I work with full HD material of the Ex1 and the performance is much better than CS3. I am satisfied.

@ Marco: Vegas 8.1, seems to be the only program to be designed specifically as a 64bit application has been developed, at least I find no other, or the manufacturer have it on their web sites are not specifically made.

Whether Vegas 8.1 synonymous with 24mbps AVCHD sources of support and whether it actually supports the HF11, I can probably only with a trial version to try if my new PC is there.
