50 W: 12 V = 4.166 A
Your lamp attracts so (arithmetically, without line losses), about 4.2 amperes.
7.2 Ah: 4.2 A = 1.71 h

Instead of one transformer would I use a switching power supply, which are lighter and smaller. As the belt can be a synonymous hip camera bag in an appropriate size are used, that would be the cheapest method.
