Hello,
DV / miniDV is in the corporate sector practically the standard format.
The recordings are semiprof on one of the standard. NLEs cut and then issued for the Web as a WMV. This is actually a standard process and not particular about which one takes a long discussion.
We use to the (legendary) VX-9000 of Sonyand a premiere editing suite. This equipment is perfect for such things. All other equivalent systems, of course, synonymous.
