You want to edit the recordings? - In this case, pick an audio format of uncompressed WAV files. Even the video format - is expressed positively - not optimal. Here, DV-AVI would be the first choice, but that will not allow the TV card is likely ...

it can shape may be tricky, an existing PC with appropriate hardware and software equipment used for video recordings to. I fear s.ein, some own tests You will not pass. The workshops include some PC magazines was recommended to uncompressed audio first and then later nachzukomprimieren with Virtual Dub. It was recommended there, the DIVX Audio codec. RECOMMENDATION Is this still relevant? At least DivX6 is supplied, no audio codec.
So far, I just compress with the MPEG Layer-3 codec and 56 kbit / s, 24,000 Hz, Sterio. This works well so far synonymous. Unfortunately I have no idea if this codec is so perfectly with these settings.
