Hi, I just tinker-s.dem update for an educational program that is run in its previous form with Cinepak. I'm looking for a different codec, which pretty much exists on all Windows systems, or in older systems (before 2001) can be downloaded and installed.
Can help me as one?

The "Microsoft MPEG 4 video codec is available on all systems.
The quality will probably be hearsay Ok.

Now I heard Sorensen should be quite good. And Indeo 5.2 is excellent, I have now tried. But Sorensen Indeo or already integrated into the operating system. possibly synonymous already in Millennium or 2000 or W98? How can I find out that bring Windows OS with this codec already in?
For the purposes of MPEGs, the application may need to be rewritten, because the program framegesteuert perform various tasks. And this info (which frame is currently running) must somehow be returned s.das BS. I'm not sure whether the playing of MPEGs as well as in the run of play (Microsoft's own software), "AVI".

MPEG1 runs without downloading any codecs on any common PC and MAC. I have now been compressed high-definition video trailer. ;-)
