Hello
I wish of my VHS Video Recorder Digitize films (on the PC / edit) and do not know what interface I should buy.
There are several variants such as the PCI card via USB interface connected s.PC or a PCI TV card.
Most manufacturers provide the same with software. I need only the hardware because the software (Pinnacle Studio Plus 10) already have.
Can anyone give a hint?

I would be a real AD converter (Canops, Datavideo) advise that you have Firewire connect with the calculator.

So the firewire card, I've been in my calculator. I connect my video camera and thus it works flawlessly synonymous.
That with the converter is a good option, however, which is very expensive. I have legidlich 2 VHS tapes which I would like Digitizer and search for a course, the most favorable variant.
I have already tried the VHS recorder using the Videocam durchzuschleifen, but that's not just because my Videocam Video OUT IN and has no video.
It is enough if I simply buy a cable which is based on a Page with the 3 RCA (yellow, white, red) and on the other the 6-pin Firewire Male which is? (If it even is such a cable).

Without a converter, it is not. If there really is only 2 cassettes goes, I would be friends in times umhören whether someone with a camcorder has video-in and can borrow.

RCA is analog, is Firewire digital: So an adapter cable, you will not find it, because to some form of conversion from one to another do not you come around. You can but your DVD recorder via S-video and TV card s.ner connect. The TV card is then via USB into the computer. This saves you the AV transducers.

It is true that I have no TV card. The idea Camera with DV IN borrow seems to me the correct solution. Times I ask my friends if I was such a loop can borrow Cam Cam on the VHS recorder through the calculator. That should hopefully work then yes.
Another question: There are indeed of the Pinnacle Dazzle Video Creator. Would that possibly be an alternative. Such a Dazzle would be with me for about 65 euro more affordable. So Dazzle between calculator and connect and VHS movies on the hard copy. Has anyone experience with the Dazzle terms of quality?

Contrary to some previous post of others here in the forum, I have the Dazzle with no problems. Zugebermassen I use it but only in synonymous Road operation times fast analog customer material to capture and it quickly spot next to edit. For you anyway so you already have Pinnacle products is certainly a viable solution. On the DVD for 2 worth you must stop themselves.

The idea Camera with DV IN borrow seems to me the correct solution. Once again for clarification, so you hire the right Cam:
DV IN is needed if you Comuter movies from tape back to a secure wishes.
Analog IN is used to show of analog sources, such as the VHS recorder to DV tape or record the digitized signal via firewire directly s.den PC forwarded (through). That is what you need according to original posting.
