Frage von DoBBy:Hi Forum,
I recently just returned from holiday and wanted to leave the same material on my PC and restore as the first of a total of 3-DV cassettes recorded and I was just briefly in MAGIX "drüber-gehuscht" bin, I noticed that approximately 30 minutes after the sound of the material is no longer there. The picture is there, only the sound stops.
My guess: I have s.der camera on vacation and I played around in Tonmenü landed. There I had the option of the Sound Recording on 12Bit-16Bit-recording switch. Because I thought that 16Bit course delivers better sound quality than 12Bit, I simply converted to 16 bit and since the last two cartridges with 16Bit weitergefilmt. Could it be because the first 30 minutes but still 12Bit recording is 16 bit and then recording that MAGIX therefore not clear and then comes the sound just stops as soon as 16-bit to be achieved?
But now how do I get my shots on the PC? If someone knows when you can MAGIX somehow?
System Info: MAGIX Video deluxe 2007/2008 Plus
Would really appreciate if you could help me ... * is desperate *

Start your next attempt to capture with a band office after the change of "tone".

Start your next attempt to capture with a band office after the change of "tone". Thanks for thos-berlin, I will try. Further question: Is this normal for editing programs, that such problems simply cancel the sound and it is worthwhile to continue 16Bit film, or should I maybe switch back to 12bit. If 16 bit is really better, why do we have the opportunity to the poor 12bit runterzuschalten?

If 16 bit is really better, why do we have the opportunity to the poor 12bit runterzuschalten? The setting to 12bit - and thus synonymous only 32kHz to 48kHz as opposed to 16bit - then still makes sense if you want the camcorder nachvertonen since then four, rather than - as with 16bit - two audio tracks are recorded. Because nowadays, but better s.PC composed, usually nothing speaks more for the poorer-quality 12bit. BTW: Such information can be found easily in the user manual of your camera ;-)

OK, thanks for your tip. I will in the future with 16-bit recording. The dubbing option I do not because I have no dubbing studio and if so, then I would always (as you said) s.PC make.
