Frage von Auf Achse:Hello!
I have a question about the WB presets (especially XH A1s, HV40). If the Tageslichtpreset easily be used in all "normal" daylight situations? Where are the boundaries, there are already back problems? I have noticed that fast in the shade is a blue cast.
I would like to get away from the AWB because I disturb the visible color changes in certain situations.
As another option, there is in the XH A1s adjust the color temperature manual.
I wish I did not necessarily do the manual WB is the preset color temperature or an alternative?
Thanks and regards,

what did you balance against the manual white?, buy a color-neutral gray card for example (of fotowand) key, just before the optic, white alignment button, a sache of seconds and you will be rewarded with the best possible achievable picture, what these terms aspect.
to your presetfrage, a kunstlichtpreset in a studio situation, 3200k constant does, is his service, moved Daylight, however, between 4000k and up to 12000K (in the shade) and normalized as 5600k, which can be traced back film material on real, so is a preset here somehow overwhelmed.

Hello!
It is a matter of effort and time required. If I architecture or nature films is OK, but I can not hold events in front of each REC, press the color chart in front of the lens.
To my knowledge this should actually be, or am I wrong? Should one if a setting is finished and a few feet next to the next setting (eg turning to another building with other colors) again make a WB? Or does the current WB synonymous for the entire current lighting situation, no preference whether I now sonnentechnisch .... in one direction, then in a different direction, sometimes a red house, then a green fence movies?
Thanks for the information I have as yet not the full view. I do not want to film with AWB because it bothers me, I need at events but a good compromise. When shooting when I have time I can not imagine the manual WB. And for that I would like to know whether the EVERY TIME is to make new.
Thanks and regards,

The white balance refers to the color temperature of the light / light of the existing consent and is not dependent on visual content.
when the mood light (eg cloudy) once s.anfang the event a white balance was made and the weather holds, there is no basis to renew the white balance every 5min, but then comes a shadowy situation, one should compare new, but offers the XHA1 the possibility two presets for the white balance to show, just an example for shade and one for sun, so that you have to switch just yet.
and important: color-neutral gray card to light inclined to use as a reference medium, there are hundreds of varieties of white (think a few sheets of paper side by side and you will all the difference seen), gray, however, only one color-neutral, which of you mentioned color chart, it can definitely not be.

Thanks for the info, I'll deal with it myself in the near future. I would like to address before my next movie work and thus not only superficial knowledge herumwurschteln.
Since I work with the XH A1 and they tell me to manual settings "forced" has and I see the results I have become much more critical. I am bothered by things today that I have not seen before (and I finds good ).... the only way to improve.
Thanks for the help
