The new Sony's have even a (fixed) mirror, as once Canons flagship EOS1 RS example, or synonymous, the EOS RT, has worked very well, so was the view finder is not dark, a particularly bright focusing screen has offset this, these cams were, for example. with sports photographers very popular, high frame rates, no mirror rattle, no vibration .... blow by mirrors

Well, when the viewfinder is not dark then bring it on!
But when it is so easy, why then even takes in two of three Arri Alexa models an electronic viewfinder?

since you have the Manufacturer ask, is simply there for the developers not to act safely, an "oblique glass part" between the sensor and lens have to be and probably is the production of a high quality prism now synonymous expensive than such a display, which are now indeed very high resolution and therefore just as useful.
Would have only one idea is you now filming already through the mirror, can exploit the phase detection faster autofocus, why not use the same for manual focusing-synonymous during the shoot and during filming, the benefits of a true SLR viewfinder, such as when shooting with such a photo film clippers??
