Frage von ozzfreeze:Hello,
why video images are always blurred in the redlight?
At concerts, it is often like this and I would like to know the background.
Thanks
Antwort von Reinhard S:
Hello,
Light with different wavelengths has different refractive indices - see the rainbow. Lenses are expected to hold white light - only red or blue light will therefore be focused not just where it should. In blue behind them, in front of red (or is it vice versa?).

Jo, super, but I quite understood that yet!
Are there any ne graphic?

Imagine that with the refractive index for red, long-wave light so similar before as with long-wave sound: it is perceived as "deep" and is to detect more indistinct, the longer the waves are.
The "L" - Suppositories (L for "long") on the retina are stimulated low frequency. During the same period can be less "red" information is passed on as "blue" information, therefore, have "Red Impressions" is subjective lower resolution, but not a lower intensity (a bass guitar is not considered as intrusive as a piccolo). Or something like that ...

Lenses are expected to hold white light - only red or blue light will therefore be focused not just where it should. Hi All,
and while that is wrong, but the above statement is not the reason for the uncertainty in the imaging of saturated primary colors (red, green, blue). The electronics measures the sharpness of the camcorder so the basis of contrasts. If instead of white light (= sharp picture) only red light on the image intensifier (true =) Picture slightly blurred, then adjust the focus would be the electronics, which would compensate for any deviation of the lens.
To a small test: Capture time, a recording with rich primary colors as a DV-AVI on the calculator and export a Stillimage as uncompressed TIFF Picture. Already in the original size (without Ranzoomen in the image viewer) can be clearly seen s.den squares boundary of the saturated Primärfarbbereichen. These artifacts caused by the 4:2:0-Compression of Digital Video (DV). Higher-quality video formats such interfaces can separate color better, but they are synonymous to some more expensive.
