Can anyone explain the following times:
A NEW SonyFX1 costs 5200 CHF.
A NEW SonyFX7 costs 3700 CHF.
How is it that a predecessor Camera used even (sometimes) more expensive than its successor?
Did Sonywith the FX7 no improvement compared with the FX1 brought?

FX7 is no direct successor, but rather a product line extension in the prosumer range.
so there is still the same.

The FX7 is not the successor to the FX1, but a separate model. The Sony FX1 is of still higher than the model sold.

biggest difference is probably the image sensor. The FX1 has 3CCD and the FX7 CMOS.
