Hello everybody!
Have recently a XL-H1, but can not cut the material almost, because it constantly jerky.
My Calculator is a 3500 + with 1 gig memory and a 7200 rpm hard drive.
The material was recorded in 1080 in the frame mode.
In the Studio 8, I have created my own project settings according to the well-rehearsed material (1440x1080, image-based, 16:9, etc)
I have also enabled the Smart Proxy (at 1440x1080) with normal Pal resolution.
To crown all, I have enabled instant-play.
Nevertheless, jerky, the material permanently.
In the bottom of the screen is also a status bar which slowly fills towards 100%.
It would be great if I could give someone nen tip that I can still try!!

At least, "image-based" is wrong for HD2 - that once belonged upper field first. If that is the mode of a frame FX1 - the records in the half-frames, synonymous as far as I know in frame mode.
But what surprises me is the fact that the proxies jerk. Are you sure that will be created synonymous? Maybe the settings are set too high - I would put the time at 1440x1080. Even in VideoStudio 10 playing with the proxy went smoothly, of course, is synonymous of off the proxy in detail on how to make the play.
If you have a mjpeg codec s.System have - then I would at proxy time HDV2 / 2 to taste - that is 960x540, 25 fps, upper field first, PAR = 1 Alternatively synonymous DV proxies go in SD resolution, if not exactly synonymous are überleitbar in the dimensions of HDV.
