use Panasonic MiniDV camcorder (NV-GS70/70, a few years ago, PAL resolution), for example, to film subjects who do something in front of a calculator in a (smaller) room or synonymous to include group discussions.
But recording on MiniDV course very complicated, because synonymous recording time limited, expensive dubbing, etc. Therefore you want to record int memory or removable media synonymous
Furthermore, for the above purposes would be some wide range of connectivity especially of advantage + ext. Micro.
What (would r) camcorder (s) in question? - With a budget of (say) 1000 ¬:

Problem is the amount of data. it may happen that take place directly after perhaps four shots with up to 1.5 hours. If one were now directly (transfer directly to PAL resolution) in the DV format, is drawing some of the disk space might run (ext. hard disks use to me is too sensitive with respect to transfer).
So tried it once with the Movie Maker on XP (but at a slightly older laptop) and the dubbing and the Encoding to WMV files in a reduced resolution (the Movie Maker even offers several presets). Problem: This encoding process will take (s) too long wg. several recording sessions in a row. In this case, but was then recorded on tape and transferred the recordings after the event time.
Without notebook / calculator as a recording medium can also be independent / portable, would need fewer cables, etc.
So that's why the idea to update the PAL MiniDV camcorder-stock:)
