I would like a WW converter for my Sony SD camcorder to buy.
because the prices of accessories Sonyfür a "High Grade" converter of over 200 Euros, I lie on one of the accessories to buy. For example, Kenko, which is on ebay for lots of less than 100 euros.
But I do a lot of emphasis on the quality of the image I put in doubt whether Sony simply the name of the surcharge on price or whether it really glaring quality differences exist.
Has someone experience with Sony?

If possible, you really want good quality, get the Sony adapter. According to my experience (HC90, Sony high-grade 30mm adapter) is always a big TVs (p.63 cm) visible difference to the cheap adapters that I've previously Tested. In my opinion only superior alternative: Century adapter, there is a factor with 0.55/37mm-Gewinde, about 160 USD. Not quite as good as the Sony, but more Angleund Wide 43 mm front thread, so I am still a sun visor can unscrew (missing the front thread is Sonyder only drawback). Big downside to Century: not durchzoombar.

Differences: generally greater uncertainty, more Randabschattung stronger distortion (straight lines appear bent s.Rand), more chromatic aberration (color bleeding)

Hello.
I have a lot tested at Raynox HD-5050 remained. The Sony solutions with 0.7 x had me by the gain of the image cut too low. The Raynox HD-5050 has 0.5 x and thus in the interior, I can work much better. Full zoomfähig it is synonymous and has 62mm front filter thread. Century Optics was qualitatively worse and more expensive.

I'm still unsure what camera should I buy, I tend to SonyFX7. It has a filter thread of 62 mm, I have a Canon Wide AngleWD-58 0.7 x58. Can I use the means of a filter or adapter can be seen due to the 4 mm difference already shadows on the periphery? Has someone tried?
The decision was easier for me if I am as much of my old equipment could continue. In a VX2100, the Canon Wide Angle exactly fit but then I manage not to leap to 16:9 (HDV me at the moment would be not so important)

Only the distortion in the HD-5050 is a small deficiency. Other 0.5 x I've tried were far worse, so then the decision to Raynox. I think at 0.5 x must be at the big picture angle synonymous in moderation accept. Of the sharpening and contrast performance was the Raynox HD-5050 with the best distance of all the 0.5 x

For my FX7, I am on the Raynox HD-7062 rise. This has 62mm thread. So right fit. Are 2 weeks in use and had no reason to bleating.
