I hope you can help me with the following: I had to reinstall wmp11, as I had formatted my PC. If everything went as far as, in the installation, but then: When I use the Windows movie maker for video was viewed, the video was completely dark, then I have it on my laptop views: All the best ... Good, I have a few other videos on my PC tried ... All were so oddly dark, only to s.and - coincidentally - the video was normal in color / light. If he then used in the auto playlist to the next video is cracked, it was again very dark. On my laptop everything runs perfectly ... The error occurs before the installation of wmp11 on my PC. I have repeatedly unsuccessful reinstalled wmp11, codecs all times uninstalled, then reinstalled ... all without success. I have some comparative pictures attached.
I hope someone can help me. Otherwise I can not watch videos - either in the VLC player, winamp still in an editing program: everything dark.

Aha! Did the problem solved itself: I had wmp's options under the tab "Performance" video acceleration to a maximum - low video acceleration and it works!
