1) Look in Control Panel for "Sounds and Audio Devices. In Volume "sound" checkbox set? Then away with it.
2) In the tab "Audio" is ever in "Sound Playback" a device exist?
3) If not, look in Device Manager. Are there audio devices with question marks in place? Then to reinstall the drivers.
