A safety problem is often the following error when testing a video in Movie Maker to import:
File yxz can not be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close Windows Movie Maker and you restart the program in order to then try again to import the file.
Unfortunately, I've got the Windows code package already and, according to GSpot (v2.7) is the codec installed synonymous - only wants Windows Movie Maker, the synonymous not see after restart (of the program and the computer).
