Frage von tomsic:Hello,
I try to take the picture of a PC interface via the MovieBox USB to another calculator. I have a PC connected to it via S-Video. But even with the highest data rate MPEG2 and the result looks very modest. : (
As I have read that the MPEG2 conversion of Studio 9 is s.sich been modest, I would like to know if I can not capture it directly to AVI without compression!?

website of the manufacturer
Pinnacle next writes that "will be read video in MPEG-2 format DVD-quality" and that this "video CDs and DVDs" can be created. So you can only capture in MPEG2 and the poor quality is directly generated by the transducer.
My tip: Look for a A/D-Wandler of Canopus. Die bieten eine überzeugende Qualität and fesseln Dich nicht s.die Studio-Software.

SUUUUPEEEEEER!
Thank you for your reply, Mark!
I see you're a professional in this issue.
1. If I understand correctly, I can follow to make for my theme: Canopus ADVC-55 S-video signal gets from the PC, and about as Studio 9, the DV signal arrives s.anderen PC, which I can capture in AVI?
2. Are there alternatives to the Canopus converters? As it is for price-/Leistungsverhältnis?
3. What do you think of screen capture with SnagIt, eg with?

Hello,
to Question 1: A clear yes. :-)
Question 2: The Canopus converter, I can recommend in good conscience, since I also work with such a device and in magazines always read good reviews. The converters provide a good (Picture-/Sound-) quality and can be handled easily. The price-/Leistungsverhältnis I would call good to very good.
Question 3: For this I am not the right person, because I have not come into the situation, mitfilmen a screen by software "can be" too. Maybe you try on your proposal from one of your experiences and reporting it? ;-)
