Hi, I have the following problem. I want with my SonyHandycam DCR-TRV14E a video recording, but the approximately 6 hrs. lasts, I thought, I do not take all this on MiniDV cassettes (1 hour per ding.) but also aufm pc. via a firewire cable (synonymous with dv known) so it should go. and it works wonderfully synonymous to synonymous qualified can be seen, but only 10 min. then turns from the camera (or it does not switch off, but simply listens on the image to send s.den pc. it goes into standby mode or less (ie the image will be shown, but it is no longer on)) I have already tried:

Hello,
You've really tried everything, what with such a consumer camcorder is possible. There would have been that the camcorder off, if he hangs s.Battery and / or a cassette is inserted. Neither could you exclude a possible cause.
In this case, probably only the use of a different camcorder left. : - /

hmm .... pity.
Today I heard again what probiert.
And it turns the Handycam so after 10 min. ab. But not if you inerhalb this 10 min. the zoom of the camera uses. thereby prolong the time by a further 10 min.
