Okay, synonymous to the danger that has been chewed here a dozen times, but somehow all this is nich so really the problem, what I have ...
So I have a Hauppauge WinTV capture card (model 61xxx ).... I want to digitize some of my old VHS .... All I'm trying to be with VirtualDub, but when I want to raise the Resolutionhöher than 352 * 288, I get the error message "Video format not supported"
I have the WDM drivers as drivers of the hauppauge website ... my operating system is XP ...
My question is: can I set my TV card even with higher resolutions, or is it perhaps just s.der software / s.treiber, and if the latter is the case is: how can I change the whole?

Hi Kira,
a TV card is a "television-on-computer card" and not an optimal tool for digitizing analog video recordings:

-> 3 If the setter is analogous
Perhaps there are in your TV card to set the option for higher video resolution, but without the exact model you is that no one can say with certainty.

With Win TV is actually very good analog material (if it's good) to digitize, Resolutionund prerequisite is the right of the right hardware Hauppauge.Ich have the PVR250 and the records of DVD Resolutionsind really super (which can halt of A - get source material may be purely technical point of view). Drivers such as I have said is the WDM driver (in the hardware sections of the system: Hauppauge WinTV 878 / 9 WDM Video Driver (or Aux).
I schonmal synonymous with the VFW drivers on the Hauppauge site tried ... because what is also known that certain maps (including model 61xxx, should use so my drivers) under windows XP, the VFW .... I'm loaded, but the file itself is at once nothing more of XP, but only "Drivers for NT and 2000" ...
hope based on the dates you can help me ...

But after your description, I would then come theoretically synonymous to 720x576, right??

If you can compare a P4 with an AMD XP2800, it should go.
Have you ever looked at Hauppauge / In demand?
Something's wrong.
Have a look through at Hauppauge whether Treiberupdater for your card / are your Programs, here is the link:

With WinTV schonmal 2000, I've captured from the TV .... then there was a sudden visual tone and different .... So nichmehr synchronously ...
jetz've tried it with video on pc again synonymous with WinTV (synonymous'm just the most recent version of this year) is loaded, but somehow I miss the button to add ... or I think he's more ..... nich these snapshots can I still record correctly but somehow goes nich ... maybe I'm just blind synonymous * fg *
