Hi
I have the following work PCs are with me:
- Intel Core 2 Quad 2.40 GHz processor
- 4GB Ram
- GeForce 9800 GT
- LG Monitor 1680x1050 (soon to 1920x1080)
I work out with Windows XP SP3 32bit,
mainly in Photoshop CS4 and Avid Media Composer 3
Now my question is whether it WÜD pay off Windows 7 64bit install.
Whether it would run performance moderately faster.

Geschwindigkeitstechnisch would make no perceptible difference. I have seen, at least not yet benchmark, which has great Untrerschiede.
You could use 64-bit with just your whole RAM, 4GB on 32 bit because not all can be addressed (graphics memory synonymous gibts ja noch!). And you have a great new operating system with some new features. It's just what this will cost.
Conclusion: no preference, you need to know. Actually, only makes sense if one "wants", or RAM plays a role (eg, upgrading to more than 4GB).
