I am a newcomer to Final Cut Pro 7 Had previously cut on Avid Liquid and Premiere.
Now I have MP4 files of an EX-1. So XDCAM EX 1080p 25th
However, I can not get them into Final Cut Pro 7. During import, an error occurs and synonymous on the Log and Transfer ", a message appears that the file or folder structure is not supported. The XDCAM EX Log & Transfer Utility "Of Sonywird unfortunately not supported by Final Cut Pro 7 ...
Actually FCP7 want to deal with the XDCAM EX files natively, but how?

because I'm in my applications folder to a folder with additional easy setups, because all sins XDCAM there. experimental synonymous times a software update! otherwise captures the ProRes 422 HQ codec.

Lars Laaser Could it be that you have your operating system has been updated to "SnowLeopard"? Namely that has problems with the sony card. gabs ne synonymous message here ....
