I have just learned that I get for a cut-Project on PPro CS4 additional camera equipment. To date, there was only one of HDV FX1, now there is the further XDCam Ex of a JVC GY HM100E. Which is intended "to bait HDV-like" material, that is 25 Mbps with 1440 x 1080, the whole synonymous still interlaced and Field-order upper HB first. At first glance, therefore, identical with HDV, wrapped only in mp4 container.
Questions: Can I import the material into HDV-HM100 Project, without the need to scale render / (= red bar)? Or is a recoding of the XDCam material sense?
Background: I have the ever XDCam EX with 720p material made of an export as mpeg2 HDV-EX1 and re-import into a HDV project. Quality was ok, not synonymous red bar.
The mass will in fact be s.Material HDV, so I had the time of the two three hours to encode new XDCam footage.

The MAaterial runs fine in Premiere. Further more if it is HDV only. It is exactly the same material as that of the FX1, it is packed in a ledeglioch MP4 container.
