Hi
I consider myself, the Canon XH-A1 to buy, what I mainly for movies (ie asked scenes ausgeleuchet) will need.
1. Is the camera suitable?
2. How long do you think is the Cam "currently" be. Should read: is the quality of the camera synonymous in 5 years still acceptable?

Probably plays with you, as for me and one or the other, the purchase price of a certain role. The price / performance ratio is good, but of course there are better. on the future of HDV I venture another prediction: the will - because soon the smallest version of "720" television standard - much longer, perhaps similar long as PAL. From Scarlet Red or so products I would just wait for what was then the others Fimen make.
In 5 years will probably be some changes.
Lass mal Sonyand Your Full Canon sensors properly work out and then looks very different.
Clear Conclusion - just buy and be happy.

You have me now quite convinced me the XH A1 zuzulegen.
Since I am a student, I unfortunately do not you now have a possibility to me already a little less good Camera to buy and possibly in 2 years, a better one.
If I buy now (and I need one), then they should already be good. And I think I am with the A1 is not bad advice.
In addition to the Camera I need a Tripod synonymous, but have even less idea than the Camera. :-)
What would you say to that?

What are the head: His predecessor was 501 for the price quite okay, but the 503 felt better. Whether this difference is now with 501HDV and 503HDV still exists, I can not say - I know both are not.

PS: Has your Tripod with nothing to do, it just occurred to me: the link of your dealer has a few days ago the SonyDCR-TRV950 into new product range. Here it is years ago the range of Sonyaus been deleted?

"Forum-Tripod" Velbon 7000 is for <100 ¬ to have and the price unbeatable. Even the fluid which meets the head. I'm happy with it.

I initially wanted me synonymous the Manfrotto kit (503 head and 525 tripod) to buy. However, I am with the Tripod to travel more and since the Manfroot not only 3x as expensive but synonymous 2x (or more?) Is so difficult, I decided for the Velbon DV7000. And must say, for the money and the claims for a total purchase tip. At the moment I do not know what happened to me as missing.

Can synonymous NEN carbon fiber Manfrotto Tripod take of.
I have on my already synonymous drauf XL1S packed. That's more of a Still Image Tripod my .... but I stopped it.
But I think the man synonymous Velbon one can take here is so often recommended ...... and has a small cone I was synonymous NEN HAMA, and the pictures are still what has become.
