Hi,
use for some time Windows 7 (; 32x) and was until now quite happy - until I wanted to connect my Canon Xh-A1:
The Kam is detected by the system, but when I go into a program to capture, I can not access the. I have been looking for drivers, but on the Canon website is no drivers for Win 7th
I have tried with different softwares, OnLocation, Premiere, HDV Split and CapDVHS - in vain.
I have tried synonymous, the Canon Console software to install, unfortunately, is not synonymous.
Also the Firewire Drivers I can update, but that has been synonymous nothing.
Does anybody advice?

Hi,
Console, the software you need to install under XP compatibility mode in Win7.
After installation you must run the Console.exe in XP mode, then do it.

If I have an HDV tape-there, you have to click in magix on "HDV Camera", with "DV" then is not and vice versa.
