Frage von silentzero:
Is that possible? Can I record with my Canon XH A1s somehow with 4:2:2? By external devices or something?
Antwort von Maze:

does not exist.
Antwort von r.p.television:

It has no HDMI out and no synonymous SDI Out. It is not so. Only the XH G1 can do that
Antwort von Bernd E.:

If it were not with the component output to do something? When you turn there is an (expensive) recorders such as the Ki-Pro with ProRes422 recording, should be able to elicit an XH-A1 High 4:2:2. Even the cheaper way of a suitable capture card (Black Magic?) Work directly on the computer would have.
Antwort von r.p.television:

Theoretically yes, practically no:
Canons of the component signal is color-shifted a little. At least that was at mean it.
Just the once unnecessary D / A - A / D conversion promises nothing good.
I think the result would be worse than 4:2:0 of HDV tape.

How is that going with the SLR? I've read that as the series Dr. House with the Mark 2 is rotated. But the EOS models assume all synonymous only in 4:2:0 or 4:1:1.
