Hello,
I have gained me an Acer 3705W, which can basically play DIVX and XVID. Now I've got a movie in XVID with a Resolutionvon 1280x720p, which, however, does not play. I wanted to convert the film is now in a different format, eg in WMV9 or DIVX. I have tried with the Windows Media Encoder that when loading plain crashes with an error message. EO also can not invite the 1:36 video file. I can not look at me but with the Media Player on your PC .... The question that I now ask is whether there is not a tool with which I can convert this movie?

1 / Recently, there was a visitor here, has sought the one else translated XVID codec, because the new video codec XVID had one of his players incompatible ID.
I had replied, how to solve instead of recompiling patching, but received no feedback as to whether it worked with his videos.
2 / There is a fit for VFW XVID codec, which is usable in VirtualDub. DivX for VD synonymous there. Both together, plus possibly the Resize of VD might help you.

thanks for the reply erstmal. I do not read the forum with a permanent, so unfortunately I do not know what everything is synonymous words, are synonymous with the crowd here s.Beiträgen very time consuming.
It would be nice if you could make yourself the trouble to explain to me how I can possibly patch at the moment .... I have now set the DIVX encoder 6.1.1 on it, since the file and try to let it load with Reencode ... well if it were better stop with patch already ....
Otherwise, I'll go see if I can get this done with Virtual Dub. I have since I updated to 1.6 VD had the problem that it only happens DIVX without sound ...'ve already tried a lot, but somehow I get the path is not synonymous with this Prob ... but should do well and have nothing to convert anyway, I think.
