CS5 is well suited for this, stay with your preference.
Each NLE is only as good as it is the users-and by heart and knows the market shares of the big five suppliers are indeed remarkable and change only in percentages over the years.

Must agree with previous speakers, to me is synonymous or synonymous CS5 simply premiere the previous versions of the ultimate. If you have After Effects dazurechnet the Creative Suite anyway unbeaten.
No program offers such easy access and yet so far for professionals. Especially, you can animate the keyframes in Premiere Effects itself, which I believe no other program offers in style.

Never use Premiere Pro or Vegas, but share only the best that there is currently and that's Apple Final Cut or even more, the new Media Composer of AVID.

One minute you say in an article that you this "question" are suffering because the various user would anyway contradict again. Now you put that fact (so I think at least on the basis of your first posts) icy into practice and try to contradict the others, who were unanimous in CS5 all.

I know CS5 not because Adobe annoy me slowly.
Photoshop is the best that it relating to "Image editing is" and AE is synonymous in his area very well. Now Adobe has, however, set his mind to want to provide for each area, the optimum and they do not make it easy.
Creative Suite sell them as a crown of creative software creation. Illustrator - I know of verse 10 to CS3 - hair-raising mistakes or shortcomings of versions has defied. Premiere - I am speaking of version 5.5 to CS3 - but the handling of all enjoyable, so I always try again, but then again it has horrible bugs that are on versions of time not just corrected. I am bothered by the less software bugs, bothers me that rather than fix the bugs in a patch, just a new version will be brought out. If you have already paid for the first lot of money, so you buy the New in the hope that it works now - and behold: A bunch of some stupid gimmicks have come to and the errors are still not fixed.
Adobe Programs only if they get reduced as much as a student. The regular price they are part of the cheek.
Could be that has everything but with CS5 now changed for the better, but I just can not believe it.
With Edius I've had the best experience. It just works as it should.

I had originally Premiere 5 to 6.5 and was very happy. The upgrade to Premiere Pro, I have regretted it had so multiple crashes. So I did not pursue premiere next. About the current state of the program and its operations, I can not say much. Round and again we hear but still synonymous users complain of program crashes.
About another upgrade I came to Pinnacle Liquid Edition, that was then acquired of Avid. The program I used to in the last version 7.2 and was thus more than satisfied. A really great program, but that was difficult to learn as Newcomers of Premiere. But then we went afloat with the cut and the film editing. I think you can use the program synonymous still good, if not you, like me switching to AVCHD. That has not mastered Liquid. Avid designed the program no longer offers the next and all users who had bought up to a specified date, an upgrade to Media Composer 5th This I would assume, however, as I have already adopted some time ago, a cross-grade offer of Canopus, 700, - ¬ to Edius 5 and HD Storm. Again, difficult learning curve. Meanwhile, however, I come with the program well clear. Some things I miss compared to Liquid Edition. This was mainly in the audio processing much better. For that I have now, especially with the new upgrade to version 5.5 of Edius, real-time preview to a third full-HD monitor in HDV and AVCHD. All this on a Dual Core 2.4 GHz. Smooth working, no crashes, what more could you want! For me, the absolute tip. Premiere is certainly extensive and of course, provides better cooperation with other Adobeprodukten like AE. But these are very expensive. Your purchase goes into the thousands. I certainly do not want to work with Premiere. As I said, too many negative experiences in the past.
Edius is, especially if you want real hardware (HD Storm, Spark HD use), significantly cheaper than Premiere.
