Frage von ferbie:I am shooting a video clip and need devinitiv progressive material.
clear that the sony chip can not read progressive, but the material that formed when cineframe25 mode is nunmal progressive, ie, the image content is changing 25 times per second and not 50 times.
how are your experiences with the result? you lose a lot of s.bildqualität and sharpness, or are the results good?
In this case you would prefer SonyZ1 or the Pansonic DVX100?
And one more thing: the camera uses the information from only one field, or mixes of the two (ie at different times are genomen) the material together? that would be difficult to hire because there are a lot of light effects like strobo tec. There.
thanks for your help!

I myself have a DVX and work is often synonymous with the SonyHDVs.
Unfortunately, I have never tried s.der Sonynoch mode.
We have just synonymous not a real HD Display ... Always convert to SD.
I once heard in the forums that the Cineframe25 mode is scrap and the Resolutionhalbiert. But just to find nothing. That interested me, namely synonymous. Will try it when Gelegneheit.
At least the DVX looks good with 25p. Depending on how good you are and what you understand of color and light, etc..
Here the Cineframe25 mode is downconverted to SD as well:

Sounds as if expecting the Z1/FX1 out a single frame of two fields, ie "Deinterlace". You can ask but the exposure time to 1/25s. The question is whether this is true for each half frame or two fields then. At least, one then has the stroposkopartigen Shuttereffekt.

Hi,
Cineframemodus of the Z1 is CAMERAMAN according to one article, complete crap. The article about this mode is a bit longer, but the Hauptausage, which are the picture of the DVX100 and Z1 (Down Converted to SD) is very similar. For HDV, it looks different, because here exactly one field is omitted and the other is simply doubled, so the vertical resolution to a progressive 1080p image is reduced.
Now what would be even interresant how it works frame mode, the XL H1?

So, if I am with the Sony Turn that runs definitely DV Camera! The final product comes out anyway just to SD media, and there is very much motion, so that HDV would end badly.
To the strobe's point was that it Strobos s.set are not shutter speed. therefore it is important that the cineframe25 mode really only "information chip" of a time uses it to create a frame to.
Yesterday once made a small test, with nasty wire grid-diagonal and the like, and I found the result really okay. I can not say that I've really seen a loss of sharpness.
nevertheless would help me practice more records!
