Frage von LennartN:Hello!
I have a question about the sound recording with a Zoom H4 plus
NTG-2 (or other directional microphone with XLR connector).
I use this configuration'm his latest and, unfortunately, not completely satisfied.
The problem is basically that the sound signal is too weak. with the highest gain I can (at about 1m distance) do not have good shots.
The signal is too quiet and too noisy when it is highly regulated.
Would a cheaper Leifers preamplifier before the zoom louder noise Ergebisse poorer?
If the ZOOM H4n better amp?
Regards,
Lennart

My knowledge, no H4, the 48V phantom power, which requires the NTG-2, however, if there is none with battery supply.
Antwort von LennartN:
Oh yes. This is not the problem. Phantonspeisung, the H4 and I have already recorded synonymous with battery-powered microphone.

So I bought Last week, H4N, since I've NTG2 longer and was never satisfied with all the adapters XLR -> mini-jack (which is really very low).
I could still not test properly, but the few shots (indoor) seem to be good.
Lies but once you understand these instructions and to grab the odd tip.
If that's all nothing helps, I suppose that it is probably s.NTG2.

Hi
I read in a review: "Compared to the NTG1 / 2 is the level of NTG3 much louder"
