Hello!
I would like to make one cut me s.den films. mine are older recordings with 4:3 (, dv), with the newer 16:9 were rotated.
I work with Premiere 1.5 (and perhaps soon with premiere cs).

Hello,
if you 4:3-material into a 16:9 timeline lay appear and re li logically black areas, because the picture is too small even for 16:9. Do you want the 4:3-material full screen with 16:9 aspect ratio must have (you enlarge it to 133.3%; inflate). This will cut off the top and bottom of image content. Also logical.

The 4:3 have the same height as the (; genuine PAL) 16:9. The black bars are the result of a 4:3-display device. This has to do with the cut nichst.
You abschndeiden only the choice between left and right black bars and no bars to the top and bottom. The latter will probably lose a minimum sharpness.

I'm still synonymous as a project in front of me, but HDV Hi8 4x3 and 16x9.

I recently 4: 3 and 16: 9-material built into a 4:3-Project. The 16:9 material here with trim on the 4:3-scale level. To play on a television das is good to the normal observer is hardly a difference on.
In experiments, the Project would be implemented vice versa, the image quality was much worse.
