a large vob file to create many small, but larger 1GByte

Hello, first to the emergence and the date of my actions taken:
I have a pretty big dvd archive of several hundred dvd (before the question arises, they are all original). these are some very old and a few synonymous scratched dvd. in this play is no longer fun and keeping the value is not synonymous.
as it has for some time, large hard disks are low and the leistungsverhaeltnis in ordung for me is I have a current computer with several 750 GByte increased. This calculator does not depend s.internet (viruses, worms, etc.) is a software update or jungle, always on usb-stick is possible.
because I s.dem all additional material had no interest, but only the pure film archive wants, I calculate with about 5 GByte per film, which I per disk at about 125 films come.
on various internet recommendation of counselors with nero, I have bought and in the last 4 months then all synonymous necessary plugins for 5.1 and dts. nero unfortunately fails again and again out of some of the dvd.
So next I searched the net and me, "magix video deluxe 2008 plus synonymous again and bought the appropriate plugin for 5.1, etc. Unfortunately, this reads synonymous prg not everything.
So I was back in the net around and dvd shrink found in a German-language version. hereby so far I could read everything down and I can always have the highest quality audio version (and unfortunately not 7.1 because the software is not developed).
after the read, I can delete all unnecessary files, to the xxx1.vob, xxx2.vob, so there is no menu and no advertising.
However, several remain. vob files 1GByte and with one last, slightly smaller file left. for me, really perfect, but when I look at it like the movies with nero showtime watch, the program briefly falters when it comes between the actual share weiterspringt.
I've started with the movies magix combine warrior but even with the conversion of the highest quality mpg always small pixel errors at fast movements. clearly, every change means changing the original data.
FIME this because I never again want to burn a dvd, while I have a prg interesting that all parts of the films (some films with dts-sound, it is about 7 GB) together with the data to change.
I have a lot of freeware and test programs found what may be something. But these programs can either then it is not (because only a combination of up to 1 GByte or not a capture of only vob avi, etc.) or fail s.5.1 or dts or are so complicated that I do not manage for results.
I also promise of the program a time-saving, since changes in zb mpg quite long duration.
Hence my question: who is working with such a prg and how does it work?

ps.: love film and music industry: It's nice that your products with their more or less good measures to protect you, but if you still do not uebersprinbare intros and insertions in the movies and installs in audiocd zb bit (and thus reduce the pleasurable), you need not be surprised if more and more copies are on the internet because these processed data are then quality, as the mist of it on dvd and cd sold [/ b]

I ts files easily with the copy merged command. Since the mpeg2 are synonymous and synonymous AC3 should include the vob synonymous with go.
copy / b datei1.vob + datei2.vob + datei3.vob gesamt.vob
So all the files you wish to combine with each other behind + paste and as a last name of the desired finished file.
It is synonymous of the DVD's to ISO's, which by then TVIX easily played, so I archive my DVD's. (If you like something here is not clear just googled). A great advantage of this story you need a PC to run.

hallo helmut, where and how do I enter the command line in XP? under "start" and then "execute"? means the first letter of the drive? :-) Dos have been no longer used. mfg arntec

Start, Run, "cmd", Enter. Da isse :-)) Now, with "CD" into the root directory and of there next to where the films are :-) Switch plate: "C:" Enter or "D:" Enter, etc.

.... and you like this, you can still somewhat easier by using the Doszeilen with each other in a text file (created by the editor) save this file with the extension. bat (instead of. txt) and save the whole night .. lets labaufen .. Incidentally, absolute paths are allowed, but should be due to the known Dosrestriktionen in quotation marks.
