Frage von Knut Kumpe:
hi, so I've got a problem:
I have an avi file on windows movie maker captured. went smoothly.
now I want to cut the avi file with virtual dub and if I then cut the finished video is just rushing. the picture is super it just roars.
I habs with various codecs tried, nothing helped.
the "coming video" I can play easily in the windows mdeia player.
I have the MainConcept DV codec 2.44.
 Greetings

 Antwort von Heiner Müller:

Rushes your image or the sound?
If the noisy image: treasures of times the WMM makes you an Avi with the MS-DV codec and you encode it again with the MainConcept DV codec. The two do not mix.
You can not cut it in Movie Maker?
Otherwise it would with a conventional editing program like Premiere, Vegas or Avid cut (; off before the MainConcept codec) and let out a dv-avi.
