Frage von carino:I have a movie as avi file, which will be played, but none of my installed players. occurs in wmp for instance, the error message: Windows Media Player can not play the file. Maybe the player does not support the file type or does not support the codec that was used to compress the file.
I was actually the opinion that I have all the codecs. may, under the file properties can not, unfortunately, synonymous show.
I'm neuling and therefore perhaps fundamental errors ....
can someone help me?
Antwort von steveb:
avi can be "everything possible" to be .... divx, xvid, mpeg1. Thus you with certainty is missing a codec. Look for "Gspot". So you can clearly identify the present format. PLayer codecs and there is "nuts" at www.videohelp.com.
Antwort von CorpoRasion:
Thanks love, have already tried it with gspot, because I have found this tip in another thread, but somehow synonymous gspot does not recognize the format. Thus, the file is broken?
Antwort von CorpoRasion:
so I now have the file again and re-created for my new problem to make a new thread:
