The Sony DCR-SR77E

I would have anyway, but you tend to get SonyDVD510.
The price is little expensive, but offers much more.
Instead HDD but it has a DVD drive (; and also card slot).
If you take in the purchase, you BeKom compared to 77 for the following benefits:
- Automatic buckle
- Better picture quality
- (Better stabilizer; optical!)
- Function much better Photo
- Slow Motion Function
- Built-in night-shot function (, 0 Lux / IR on)
- Remote control included
If it has to be with HDD would be the Panasonic H280 recommended. Which is somewhat more expensive, and you'd have to dispense with slow motion and Nigh-shot, otherwise it moves, but also on the level of the DVD510.
