hello people!
my system: K7S5A pro + athlon xp 2400 +, 512 MB SDRAM, Geforce 6600GT VIVO, Maxtor 160GB, LG 4630b, latest drivers installed
am now wallowing weeks since s.handbücher, sift through forums and googling (synonymous of this), but unfortunately so far without finding a solution to my problems: I want to connect my analog camcorder to s.den pc einzudigitalisieren so my tapes and edit them.
My first tentative attempt: by composite + audio input of my s.den vivo s.The vga card or sound card and capture with help of windows movie maker. result was an image in the preview window, the rather jerky strong set even at the highest quality stage. So useless.
For me it looks as if something with the band or the camcorder is not easy because if I vote against the device type, they are increasingly dropouts. only - this does not explain why I this problem is not synonymous with movie maker had ...?!
all very funny, so I have to test an old 1.2 GB hdd connected to the hdd as an import and used to see whether it is because - no improvement. disillusioned and in despair I then turned over to the fun the whole story again and again, the ding graka s.The connected and the movie-maker started. And see there - no shaking, no jerk stripes, no twitching, only a very thin band s. below rand, the black and white crackle (you know the ant-heap ...;)
now I'm kind of distraught because I can find no plausible explanation for everything. it is actually s.einer separate hard drives, which should be used? why it works but not with pinnacle? And if it s.band is, why the devil I do not expose them synonymous in the movie-maker?! I hope someone can give me some tips, what could be the reason, because I really want the camera already s.das pinnacle device to connect to me and I have not bought the software so synonymous with the movie, at-work maker to;)

Hi Daniel,

What results you will achieve with individual devices (graphics card, video grabber), depends on how well your hardware will cope with "twisted" video signals. But before you relevant to this course, check the setter times with another video tape or the tape in question in another camcorder / recorder.
