I have now an initial test project in iMovie HD in Full geschnippelt together and since I have no HD-DVD or BlueRay, I move them onto tape (Canon XH A1) format.
How does it work? I think only in iMovie to export any youtube stuff and AppleTV. As I push an HD video in full resolution back up tape?

If I do not ...
My entries under "Provide":
- ITunes - Media - YouTube -. Mac Web Gallery
- Film Export - With Quicktime export - Final Cut XML
I have iMovie version 7.1.1 Canon XH-A1 via FireWire s.einem iMac with OSX 10.5.2
There has to be silly but somehow this film on tape to play?
Who can help?

Version 7, I know not, but in version 6 (work estimated at not much else) went as follows: 1. From the File menu, select the entry Export 2. Windows in which various options are given, the film pass 3. For your project click on VIDEO CAMERA 4. Select how many seconds s.Filmanfang and black - of will be added 5. Now as your camcorder to prepare, as in iMovie text field described 6. If everything fits, click on SUBMIT

PS: In previous versions of iMovie had a very clear and easy to use help function. Since I suspect that this version 7 is synonymous, it would take a look into it as probably not a bad idea ...
Camera requires a driver for Mac OSX 10.5? I can not imagine ... if I am under System Hardware for FireWire watch, she is listed as normal. The import of HD video in iMovie synonymous runs smoothly ...
But how do I get these films back to the tape again? I have neither BlueRay yet HDdvd, so my only option the films on the projector to look at the camera directly s.zu Close ...
But the nu Fülsche stuck in the silly compiler fixed!
What to do?
Is this a general problem of iMovie? I guess the camera can not be synonymous but should be an input to the FireWire port? Setting the Camera to VCR / Play is synonymous correctly, right? It helps if I get with FinalCut Express? Looft's that?
I'm bit puzzled, ask for help.

No, Firewire devices require no drivers.

Such problems are extremely rare s.der software (in this case, definitely not), but usually s.der ignorance of the user or his unwillingness to AID function of the software to be consulted ... Another solution I've just yourself in the other of you on the same topic written thread opened. Perhaps yes's?

For me there is no export synonymous with "File" to find only the import functions.
All Exporting files is only ... Finder, iPod, AppleTV, iPhone, Front Row,. Mac Web Gallery, Youtube, iWeb, iDVD ...
Can it be that the nasty Schwxxne export to tape in the 7er Version of iMovie simply have omitted?
Export is synonymous in 960x540 maximum possible ... So nix with HD video!
Can someone tell me if everything is well again, if I am with Final Cut Express to buy?
iMovie is a nice and easy to use, but enough for me s.allen ends and corners ... and back again to Windowas premiere and now I really want no more ;-) SP

Nee, 'does not really help in the help is nothing to find ... No export to tape, all synonymous nice video tutorials: http://www.apple.com/de/ilife/tutorials/#imovie Mention the possibility of output to tape does not ...
Big question mark ...?

Okay, now synonymous clear to me is that version 7 seems to be only another name for the current iMovie 08 seems to be (?). If you output to tape because really had not planned (as if life just from youtube and iPod there!), Then I gradually synonymous clear why the previous Apple iMovie 6 on his website for free download offers. That would be my recommendation now synonymous: Install iMovie 6, because it can guarantee you at your film on tape export.

Perhaps our esteemed moderator this thread here with this http://forum.slashcam.de/braucht-die-xh-a1-einen-treiber-vp277162.html Merge? The same topic in two parallel threads to discuss the matter but makes arg confusing!

Threads merged. Based on the different titles in the individual postings can indeed understand what has been written where, if someone change the order of the answers should happen all too confusing.
