jau danke, VD I have not been thoroughly tested, but so ... come next. when I was chippings after that it is greater than before ... I'm looking for one tutorial about this or anything, but already the good times, the VD has on it ... thanks
Antwort von Stefan:
"greater than before" - that sounds like the most common beginner problem with VD.
VD works in the video preset "Full Processing Mode" and saves without compression.
If you change the default setting in the Video menu to Direct Stream Copy, the video images taken over 1:1 with the original codec, and copied. The same applies in principle synonymous with audio part, but there the default is beginner-friendly.
Good luck

May I latch myself short with a question?
What actually happens if I have an uncompressed AVI (as DV-AVI) export as uncompressed AVI "(no preference in which software)?
The quality remains the same, right? Because she can not be better. But the file size increases by it. Am I correct that?
And in theory such an approach would indeed lead to an uncompressed AVI, which actually "only" DV has quality.
Antwort von Wiro:
But the really "just" DV quality features. So it is.
It's the same principle as when an MP3 file as an uncompressed WAV or a JPG picture saves as uncompressed TIF. The quality does not become (more) better. We may use such uncompressed files when tampering must be carried out over several generations. This deteriorates the quality of each buffering not more. Only the final result will be converted back into the desired compressed format.
